moment of silence please. For the brave men and women, that protected our
freedom, and did not return to be with us today. My heart goes out to their
family and friends on this day, their day, our Memorial Day. Thank you for
your sacrifice and our freedom. The cost of obtaining it
and keeping it, we owe to these true hero's.
Memorial Day, originally called Decoration Day, is a day of remembrance for those who have died while defending our Nation and its values. These men and women are heroes for the profound contribution they have made to securing our Nation's freedom.
